Stumbled on this wonderful store last Spring, on my first trip to Paris. Had been enjoying a lovely day as a Flaneur, walking the many streets and shops in Saint Germain, when we turned down rue Saint Andre des Arts and noticed Grim Art. Immediately drawn to it's charming store, I could have spent hours there. I finally settled on a few journals, and purchased the most beautiful leather variety, three of them, two medium (one for myself and a friend who was my delightful travel guide) and one smaller one as a sketch book. What a delightful shop filled with high quality and unique leather goods and stationary that makes you truly appreciate European quality and style. As a writer who loves the Romance of travel, this was a splendid and serendipitous find that made my trip to Paris extra special. I use my notebooks frequently, and hope to return to purchase more. They have a website as well, but if you like journals and pens and leather goods, it's so worth an in-person visit. Truly a special place.
